Strengthening communication and AI skills for leadership roles
Levels: CEFR A2 – C1
Duration: 20 – 30 hours
CEFR A2 – C1 | 20 – 30 hours
Talented team members in Macao’s hotels, integrated resorts and corporate environments are identified by their companies for promotion or greater responsibility. As they move into team leadership, supervisory or management roles, they face new communication challenges – leading briefings, handling guest feedback, presenting updates, motivating colleagues, building rapport across teams and reporting to senior management.
Without the right communication skills, even strong performers can struggle to make the transition successfully. This programme is designed to equip aspiring leaders with the practical English communication skills, confidence and presence they need to succeed in their next role.
All levels combine targeted workplace English with practical support in using AI tools to draft and refine professional communications. Participants also develop essential public speaking skills – audience engagement, clear delivery and handling questions – so they can lead meetings and present with greater impact from day one in their new responsibilities.
Key features
Who this programme is for
Training begins with a consultation to understand the specific communication challenges participants are likely to face as they move into leadership roles. We then undertake individual language testing with each participant to establish their English level and personal goals.
Lessons are highly interactive and built around realistic workplace scenarios. Roleplays, discussions and practical tasks ensure participants can apply what they learn immediately in their current and future roles.

At the end of the course, participants are tested again to measure their progress and in the final session, they develop the application skills to take the content taught into their own real world workplace scenarios.
We integrate practical support in using AI tools so participants can work more efficiently when drafting emails, reports and presentations. Participants are shown how to use structured prompts and, most importantly, how to critically review and edit AI output so it sounds natural and professional.
Public speaking skills are developed progressively, with dedicated focus on techniques that help aspiring leaders run effective meetings, present updates and handle questions with greater confidence.
“The AI section of the course was particularly interesting and useful. The trainer made the sessions engaging and shared practical experiences that I could relate to my role. I learned a lot and felt more confident using English in professional situations. It would be even better if the course could be slightly longer, as there was a lot of valuable roleplay practise.”

“I really enjoyed the group English presentation sessions, especially learning how to use AI to help prepare and improve our speaking. The course was practical and well-structured. I now feel much more confident using English in my daily work and would definitely recommend it to colleagues.”
